Special Discovery Master
Complex cases can overwhelm our Courts. To keep these cases “on track”, the court may appoint a Special Discovery Master.

The Discovery Master resolves disputes with respect to document production, assertions of privilege, the timing, logistics, and sequence of depositions and any other discovery issues that may arise. A Discovery Master is often more readily available for a telephone conference, often on shorter notice, than most trial judges. When a live hearing is appropriate, it is almost always conducted more efficiently and informally than any other proceeding that occurs at the courthouse.

The appointment of a Special Discovery Master often results in streamlining litigation. This efficiency can save all of the parties a considerable amount of money, and time.
